Woodforest National Bank Field Service Technician - Winston-Salem in Winston, North Carolina

The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing technology equipment and hardware as well as monitoring and troubleshooting network and communications services for assigned branches.

Key Responsibilities: · Troubleshoots hardware and software issues and repairs technology equipment such as computers, printers, routers, automated teller machines, security cameras and closed circuit televisions. · Monitors branch telecommunications and network service performance and troubleshoots outages and cabling issues. · Performs preventive maintenance and installations; tests new hardware and software products prior to release. · Trains end users on branch equipment functionality. · Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned.

Competencies Required · Excellent customer service and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. · Ability to quickly learn a broad range of technical concepts, tools and equipment. · Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
· Strong electrical, mechanical and technical troubleshooting and repair skills with broad knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, networking, telecommunications, and office technology equipment.. · Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and concern for data accuracy. · Proven ability to prioritize workload and multitask in a high-pressure environment. · Flexibility to provide after hours and weekend support as needed. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. · Demonstrates safe and efficient driving skills; possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience · 3-5 years electrical, mechanical, or computer troubleshooting experience. · 1-3 years technology support experience. · Financial services or banking industry experience preferred.

Formal Education & Certification · High School Diploma or equivalent required. · Associate’s degree preferred. · Must be able to achieve relevant technical certifications for the organization’s systems, applications and equipment.

Travel · Up to 75% regional travel expected.

Working Conditions · Conditions involve lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 pounds with frequent sitting, walking, reaching, bending and standing for brief periods primarily in an office environment. This position also requires operation of a motor vehicle. This position also requires operation of a motor vehicle, must maintain a clean driving records and valid driver’s license. May be asked to use personal vehicle, must maintain a dependable vehicle.
