The Retirement Plan Administration Manager will be responsible for the administration of the bank’s retirement plans, including ESOP/401k plan, non-qualified deferred compensation, etc., by maintaining plan records and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. May provide personalized service to executives to review retirement plans.

Key Responsibilities: · Work closely with the plan administrator on compliance matters, mandated testing, and audits. Review compliance testing, Form 5500’s, Schedules, and other required forms. · Ensure all plans are administered in accordance with plan documents and in compliance with Federal laws and regulations. · Explains retirement benefit plan policies, procedures, and legal requirements to employees and beneficiaries. · Conducts group benefits presentations for employees. · Acquires and distributes relevant information and documentation to plan participants and beneficiaries.

Competencies Required: · Thorough understanding of applicable plan regulations. · Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills · Exceptional organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail. · Excellent leadership and relationship management skills; ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and achieve results through the effort of others. · Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics. · Strong overall business acumen with an ability to understand the direction, priorities, and goals of the organization. · Strategic and problem-solving mindset with developed analytical, process and project management skills. · Ability to establish a strategic direction and subsequently develop and manage supporting initiatives. · Credibility, ethical, full disclosure, and clean financial history.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 5 years of experience with retirement plans required. · Proven experience interpreting plan documents required. · Experience with stock-based compensation and day-to-day stock plan administration a plus. · ESOP experience a plus.

Formal Education & Certification: · Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or an equivalent amount of related professional experience.

Work Status: · Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · None.

Travel: · 10 - 15% travel expected.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
