Woodforest National Bank Consumer-SB Loan Ops Client Specialist I - The Woodlands in The Woodlands, Texas
The Consumer/Small Business Loan Ops Client Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Consumer and Small Business clients to include internal and external clients; assisting with their requests, questions and concerns. This includes processing service requests and account updates, resolving or escalating complaints, and providing accurate information.
Answers incoming calls; communicates directly and builds strong business relationships with clients, as well as internal and external service providers.
Return phone calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
Responsible for responding promptly to requests submitted electronically or via US mail.
Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve matters and/or find solutions.
Professional attitude concerning client’s confidential information.
Provide accurate loan information and quote loan payouts as requested.
Perform loan maintenance when necessary.
Debit accounts and post loan payments as requested.
Update client’s account information as requested.
Inform internal clients where to locate requested information in the Branch Employee Manual, if applicable.
Provides timely and accurate customer service support, resolving or escalating complaints, and providing information.
Maintains current working knowledge of the Bank’s policies, procedures, products and services; complies with banking and privacy laws and regulations.
Engages in projects and other activities during low call volume, such as performing data entry or scheduling and coordinating loan closings.
Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to navigate financial software applications (Mozart, Bancline).
Willingness to assist clients in a positive manner.
Effective listening and clear communications skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational and data entry skills, ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to maintain composure, use positive language, have patience, and convey a positive attitude while interacting with clients and internal team members.
Customer service orientation with effective problem solving abilities.
2-3 years branch banking experience or 2 years of call center experience preferred.
Formal Education & Certification
High school diploma or equivalent.
0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
Professional environment with extensive use of telephone and personal computer. Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
