The Commercial Card Sales Associate I - is primarily responsible for providing sales support to the Commercial Card Manager and servicing existing Woodforest National Bank’s commercial clients in a friendly, accurate, and efficient manner and in adherence to all bank policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities: · Extends professional customer service to Woodforest National Bank’s business and commercial clients in compliance with bank policies and procedures. · Assists business/commercial clients with commercial card inquiries. · Maintains knowledge of card and cash management products and services. · Assists clients with understanding or navigating on-line card services. · Refers more sensitive inquiries, such as credit lines, pricing for new products, opening of new accounts, etc. to appropriate department.

Competencies Required: · Working knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank’s products and services. · Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. · Capability of strong problem solving, decision making, critical and strategic thinking skills, as well as strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy. · Ability to work flexible or extended working hours to meet business needs; demonstrated good attendance and punctuality while presenting a positive and professional image. · Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload. · Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal. · General knowledge of Cash Management Products and Services.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 2 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry with some experience in cash management sales and support required, OR an Accounting or Finance degree in lieu of experience; o OR a currently active member of Woodforest branch management with at least 1 year in role (Assistant Branch Manager or above).

Formal Education & Certification: · High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Status: · Full-time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · None.

Travel: · 0% travel is expected.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, folders, etc.
